Chreso Ministries delivers impactful programs across Zambia in three key areas: Health, Care, and Education. We are committed to serving people in need and fostering sustainable development within Zambian communities.

Health Programs

Our health programs are primarily focused on combating HIV/AIDS through treatment and prevention.

• Chreso ART (Antiretroviral Therapy) Program: Since 2001, we’ve provided HIV/AIDS counseling, testing, and ART at multiple sites.
• Locations: Lusaka (GO Centre), Livingstone, Kabwe, and Siavonga.
• Mobile VCT (Voluntary Counseling and Testing) Clinics: We pioneered mobile VCT services in Zambia, bringing testing and counseling directly to underserved communities.
• Partnerships: We collaborate with organizations like the U.S. Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and Catholic Relief Services (CRS).
• Focus Areas: Prevention, treatment, and care for people living with HIV/AIDS (PLWHA).

Care Programs

Our care programs focus on providing a nurturing and supportive environment for vulnerable children.

• Fountain Gate Children’s Home: Located near Lusaka, providing a home and care for approximately 120 orphans and 60 vulnerable children from surrounding communities.
• Holistic Care: We provide housing with house mothers, education, and support to help children build a successful future.
• Community Support: We support vulnerable children from the surrounding communities.
• Career Development: We offer a career path for children, including vocational training and university education at Chreso University.

Education Programs

We offer a range of educational opportunities from pre-school through university level.

• Gospel Outreach Christian Academy (GOCA): Located in Lusaka, GOCA provides preschool, primary, and secondary education, including free education for orphans and vulnerable children (OVC).
• Mubuyu Christian Academy (MCA): A boarding school for girls in Siavonga, dedicated to girl-child education. MCA provides Grade 8-12 boarding facilities and supports a community school (free education up to Grade 7).
• Fountain Gate Christian Academy (FGCA): Located at Fountain Gate Children’s Home, serving children from the home and surrounding communities, with boarding facilities for boys.
• Vocational Training: Accredited courses in Hotel and Catering Management, Food Production, Food and Beverage, and Tailoring and Designing. Modern automotive training facility also available.
• Chreso University: Founded in 2010, focusing on health-related courses, business, and theological studies. Campuses in Lusaka (City Campus at GO Centre, Makeni Campus) and the Copperbelt.
